Well, first of all this band name is cool. On their bio page they say it doesn’t really mean anything anymore and that they don’t want their music to be judged by their name. Well, we better take a listen then.

This is another foreign album. They are from a small town near Prague. So I just have to go on the feeling in the music. They have a mixture of styles going on. There is college rock, indie, pop, and 80’s influences that I can hear. And in track 3 they even bust out some banjo. It would be a little easier if I knew the lyrics to make a judgment, but as far as the feeling of the music goes it’s ok.

The guitars are fairly folk styled with full chords. The songs are structured in a pretty traditional way. The synthesizers are what gives this band their 80’s sound. The drummer also has an 80’s feel to what he’s doing. The vocalist has a very mellow voice. It’s somewhat soothing. The bass is there, and sounds fine.

Even though this band is from another country, the music is very much like our indie college rock. I can see a bunch of 20-somethings in hippie skirts or Birkenstocks enjoying this album. I would recommend this to fans of indie rock.
