This thing starts off with the worst DVD ever released on the general public. Seriously, no joke. This thing is really that bad! Even fans of Buckethead have posted negative reviews. The good news is that it is a two disc set though and the second disc is way better. Still not great, but better then the first disc. The problems with the first disc start with the menu. There are around six different items you can choose from, but only one is the actual content. The rest are annoying (and poorly done) practical jokes. The whole thing is hard as hell to navigate on top of it all. Then you get to the actual feature and most of it is some of the most boring skits you have ever seen. I have seen more entertaining comedy sketches on public access than this crap! Now we are not talking about something that is offensive, shocking, over the top, or even Jackass style shit. This is just plain boring. Maybe it’s an inside joke that only personal friends of Buckethead are to understand? So if that is the case, then only his friends should buy this piece of crap.

Now the second disc is nothing more then a concert of Buckethead doing one of his solo gigs. Now I will admit to not being a huge fan of his material, but when the guy gets down to the brass tacks and let’s the music do the talking by itself, I kind of enjoyed it. Now this could have been one of those situations where if I force feed you camel piss flavored cornbread for a few minutes, even McDonalds will taste good. Whatever the case, I did find the music to be pretty decent and no matter how much of a crack head the guy is about everything else, he can play the shit out of that guitar! The bad news is that it is just one set. I have read that there is some way to view a second show, but I couldn’t figure it out (again, horrid menu). So you pretty much get one 45 minute set for the price of a two disc set. His fans must love to be fucked with, because I have seen a ton of reviews that think this is really funny. I work too hard for my money for that bullshit!

So who should buy this DVD? No one! Of course, no one should ever watch a Will Ferrell movie either, but sadly it happens. I guess if you are a fan of his, you can laugh yourself silly that you spent a ton of money on a DVD that has nothing to offer. This guy has some major talent. It’s sad that it is wasted on the worst of Jr. High style humor. This thing did Rock My Monkey a little on the second disc, but for the most part I just wanted to throw crap at it.
