Album Update!

As we have moved the forum to a new board, our old Album Update post has been deleted. However, it's contents were moved to the GZ News page on our website at http://groundzerohate.com.

So the album update will move forward from today!

We finished the CD Layout last week and will be sending it off to Amy of Chicnatas Design hopefully this week.

Ken Fordyce, Mirror Sound Studio's Engineer, is finishing up with mastering and we should have something soon on that.

The guys decided to let everyone preview "Jail Camp" from the new album, 10 Layers of Hate, due out on October 28, 2006.

All CD Layout stuff was sent to Amy yesterday. She is hard at work getting it into the proper templates and such. I cannot even begin to tell ya how much she is helping out with this process for us. It really is something new when you decide to get the professional replication done and have to go through the CD Layout process. I don't know what we would have done if it weren't for Amy. :monkeythumb

In addition, I received an e-mail from Ken; we should be receiving our first mastered copy of the CD today in the mail. But Ken says it is not our final because he has already made more changes on our way to perfection with this album. We should pick up the final tomorrow in Seattle---we will be meeting up with Ken at the Nevermore concert.

Also expected in any day now is the new stickers and banner. We also should have buttons coming in on this order.

It would appear that we are running on schedule and that we will still be sending the CD and Artwork off to Arrow Disc (http://www.arrowdisc.com/), who we have chose as our replication company, next week. This should bring the CD order back to us a week or so before the CD Release.
