As you know, SFU are currently working on a new album. What are your hopes, expectations, etc?

i hope they ll take their time and release such a "crossbreed" of Haunted and Maximum Violence with True Carnage vocal approach:bow

but what if it s just a "Graveyard Classics 3"? Cos i heard some time ago that Barnes was plotting to make it happen...

Glad to hear a new album coming soon. I really like Chris's more classic death metal vocal approach the best (Maximum Violence,True Carnage) One of the things I like best about SFU is they don't concentrate too much on speed or get too complex. I love their super heavy grooves.I know Steve can really tear things up,but when they get those Heavy Duty fucking crushing Death Vibes goin' theres Nothing better.I could go on longer but I think you get my drift.:cool

I hope for more songs about cannibalism, blood drinking, revenge killings, and lots of music just like we've heard before! That's what made SFU great for me and that's what'll keep it great for everyone else! Oh, and really low vocals. Luv them death metal growls!

Heavy heavy heavy and SLOW...the rippin fast stuff is ok, but SFU excels at the dark brooding slow heavy shit imo :)

What is a tenative release date for the new c.d?? Beginning of next year, middle of next year, or end of next year. You know, just a general idea...http://www.websmileys.com/sm/sad/853.gifhttp://www.websmileys.com/sm/sad/966.gif

Id like to hear Sfu do more heavy songs with more rhythmic riffs thats my favorite part about SFU they got great timing and can pull off that shit. I'd also like to hear more guitar solos from Steve he shreds. :evil

I hope they continue to do what they have been doing for the last couple of albums make something different then the last one. I like SFU for there creativity in chord progressions and song structures. A guest would be cool but how about a guest guitarist doing a lead instead of another vocalist?

Fucking A, cant wait for the new album to come out. Doest matter which album they try to sound like as long as it fast and hard, like the way they been jamming. All this means is that im going to spend more countless hours learning the lyrics.:metal

"Prepare yourself for the worst it's coming soon!
I believe in those foretold prophecies of doom!
They say the end is close, it's coming fast!
Not every single one of us is gonna last!..."
"War is coming!!!"

SFU should work with Mighty Eric Rutan for this forthcoming release i believe. He did an amazing work with Torture Killer. This guy has a magic touch making every record he works with incredibly balanced both musically and vocally. Plus Eric makes every old band sound so fucking refreshed ( Look what he did with Cannibal Corpse s latest effort - it s fanfuckintastic!!! )

The other no less gifted guru is Colin Richardson - who is Genious Sound Producer - plain and simple.

Godfather of Death Metal,High priest,Chris Barnes, more high pitched, ear piercing screams, would be great, along with deep growls from Hell.
I would like to hear Big Terry rail out some really bad ass power chord riffs on bass, solos even.
Greg, what more could you ask for?
Swanny, that man could not possibly break out with even more solos and leads.[bows]
Didnt Chris say that the new album was gonna be based around the Grim Reaper?
Song 1 Reaper Rapist
Song 2 Cowled Scowl
Song 3 At Night He comes
Song 4 This Bloody Scythe
Song 5 Soul Shredder
Song 7 Gravekeepers Memoires
Hhehehahahehehahahehehahahahahahaa

I'm pretty sure that the songs "From Flesh to The Bone" and ""A Knife Fight To The Death" which are "new songs" on the box set are probebly going to be on the new album. If thats so then its gonna be FAST, CHRONIC AS FUCK! AND INTENT ON MURDAAARRR!!!

Nah dude, those were outtakes from 13 released in the boxed set (which always puzzled me because 13 didn't have 13 songs on it and Chris was freakin out about 13 everything!)
