I think you should use an automated comment type system where you can update it through a form. There are free open source ones out there, but the ones you pay just a little bit of money for would be less prone to bugs. Call me and I can try to walk you through it all.

Either that or I can give you a basic site with a secret admin section that you post news/updates through. Let me know.
