You could always busy yourself with taking tons of photos and then emailing them to me for posting in the main section of the site for exclusive posting. Hell, if I can trust you to get me those photos (and there needs to be a ton of major close ups) within 48 hours of the show I might even be able to get you and the wife in for free.

I can't promise anything, but I tell ya what: I'll try to get your pics for ya regardless. I don't have snazzy cameras or anything, just your standard digital. Don't worry about trying to get us in for free (thanks though), as I can't absolutely promise anything......

Cool. Most digital's now are 3X optical zoom and that is plenty if you get right up front. If you are a little nuts in the head like me, I enjoy the challenge of trying to get up close enough to each band member to get that right shot. Anymore, that is the most enjoyable part of shows for me as 99% of the bands out today suck in my opinion. :D

Heh, something tells me that at a Doro Pesch show it won't be so hard. I tried getting closeups in Austin back in December of the Cannibal Corpse/Dying Fetus/Necrophagist gig.....now THAT was a challenge.

One of the most common mistakes people do is using digital zoom. Never use digital zoom at all. Only use the optical zoom. Other then that it is just basic point and shoot. Not more complacated then getting close enough to the band member to get the right shot. :cool

It depends on the artist and the club. Most clubs don't care unless the club tells them to care. However, with cell phone cameras getting better and better, I don't think they can hold it back too much longer.

Sadly!! I Will Not Be In Attendance At The Whiskey Show! Family Issues Will Keep Myself Busy! Hopefully Someone Will Post About A Show During This Tour!!

Sadly, none of our writers were able to hit one of the shows oin this leg of the tour. Doro told me that the plan is to do Europe for the summer and hit the rest of America in the fall. So if that happens I will do whatever it takes to cover all northwest dates my own damn self.

This is to not only make sure it gets covered, but because I want to catch her while I have the chance. She hasn't hit Washington state in a VERY long time.

I saw Doro at the Pearl Room last month. She was AMAZING! Two local bands opened for them. (F.H.O.D. & A.D.D.) Doro was awesome. Her set lasted nearly two hours. I had only started listening to her a few months ago and I was very impressed with what I heard, but her live show just blew me away. I bought her cd Warrior Soul, and met her after the show. She was nice enough to sign it.
