this is what happens when 4 guys meet and figure out they can try hard and get something done. we'd like to say THANK YOU in advance for even just considering the idea to watch this video.
the SPLITTING OF THE I clip was totally self produced, just like the CIGARETTE SECRETS mini ep / demo... and while I'm starting to understand the dynamics of sound engineerings (after all, that's what i'm studying for), this video project was a total shot in the dark.
ciao to you all peeps, feel free to comment right away!!!
oh and we swapped url: www.recsoftheflesh.com :P
While the use of gasoline
to burn the tree of life is
certainly disturbing
the recs statement on armchair psychology
and feel good hug me humour merits a closer look.
We see our team waiting
hoping for a glimpse of hope
but the phonecall comes
and we know then all is lost.
when the disclosure of innermost fears
on therapist's couch
produces nothing more than
a party hat
we understand man's attempt to attribute
meaning to a meaningless life has no success.
En Fin, we see that to realize
the inner buddha nature
it is necessary to experience
the splitting of the i
the death of the self

holy cow Fuzz man, how can you possibly think WONDERS like those?
once again, i HAVE to ask you if that could be used as an official statement. your wording amazes me, you went beyond it this time man. i'm totally impressed.
Daem!!! this is just an attempt of being a pro like you are. we probably didn't get the goal but honestly i couldn't do more...
the plant-tree was fake, btw. of course!

thanx a bunch Fuzz bro, i know what you talking about! Big Dan's new album sparked my interest for Dahlia Indaco again, and today we tracked down a new song which is sounding greatly!
MachineJaymz, damn... it took so long, around 32 hours... not to mention countless minutes of waiting while the CPU started rattling like a bird... fucking pc!!! i had to rely onto the only video software i own: windows movie maker...

oh the hell that must have been. I would rather sit through a Color Me Bad concert than use that P.O.S software. I've spent the last 5 nights syncing multiple cameras to soundboard audio for a project that needs to be done here in the next few days. I still have to mix all the footage (over an 1 1/2 hours worth) by sunday night. Someday I'll get paid for my work..... :headbanger

Max- it looks great, even though you had to suffer on a PC! My advice - next time, use a MAC! hahaa

yeah MACS are the best for this stuff, I know. but I spent all of my money on a very cool DAW packed with CUBASE, that I just use for music. so the other PC i use is this crappy pos that I'm using right now... amd 2600 packed with loads of shit. whatever, we've got the vid!!! ahah!
Daem man, one day, you'll be the king of it all maaaan...
