PRONG's last CD, 2004's "Scorpio Rising", was released after a long hiatus from the rock scene. "I had to do something, no matter what it was," states the group's guitarist/vocalist Tommy Victor. "Looking back, I don't feel like it was an appropriate release under the PRONG moniker. I still feel like the best is yet to come."
MINISTRY's latest CD, "Rio Grande Blood", featured the reunion of Victor with "Cleansing" and "Rude Awakening" bassist Paul Raven (KILLING JOKE). This spawned discussion of a new PRONG release involving these two rock veterans. "We are in the process of signing a new record deal," Victor explains. "Raven will be involved, at the very least, in collaborating for the material. He's the best bassist in the biz so I think he can cover that as well!" Victor adds, "I've been talking with some of the best drummers in the world as well. People are going to have to keep checking in to see the results of that!"

Hey Tommy, what's wrong with Scorpio? Don't sell yourself short. It's a great album!
Now is not the time, ProngNation, to complain. It is a time to rejoice in the announcements of tourdates! Is it easy for me to say this when they will be coming to my backyard, YES!
Two questions:
1. Will The Citzen Vein be opening on this tour
2. Will more dates be added as the tour is put together?

Who cares.
I like the Jimmy Jam
Also, The Last Poets will be playing up in Harlem which is the spot
Furthermore, I would like to take this opprotunity to point out the racist entity that is Kaneko.
That's right white devils, Mr. Kaneko left his computer on while he went to group and I, Orderly Washington, have taken over to light up this Cracker Barrel.
I would not wate time trying to educate you on your problems except to say when the revolution comes, I will be laughing my chocolate hinney right off as you get a taste of your own medicine...300 years in the making.
Holla!

Just got the word, we're (Force Fed) is opening for Prong in Austin on Oct. 20 at Emos.
That is awesome news. Hell Yeah!
whoever wins the lottery next needs to fly the entire RMM Prong board into Austin for that weekend. Pling, use your scoprio rising to get a rich sugar daddy and bankroll this project.
Doesn't Monte have access to Madge's private jet? He could probably make this happen.
We can all share a toast as we cross the atlantic with the European board members on the jet!
ok, no more daydreamingandbacktomynuts...

No, we weren't a Prong cover band, Force Fed was the first Prong album I heard and we needed a band name, and I loved that album... we used to cover Decay, but we don't anymore, we just might have to play it for that show though...My other band covers Look up at the Sun and The Coliseum, but we only play once a year.

Like great poetry
and unlike mere words
music can never lie
for it is a celebration of life.
By the time you read this I will be somewhere over the Atlantic not to return.
This is the big Kiss-off.
So.

Just got my tickets to Heaven And Hell in the mail today for Radio City Music Hall. I go down stairs and surf the web and see PRONG TOUR DATES!!! I don't know what I'm more excited about? It's always a blast to see Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler belting out old Sabbath songs. Now were on the verge to see Tommy Victor and Paul Raven belting out old CLEANSING tunes. Can't fuckin wait till October!!!!

Since none of the other Prong related sites are updating, I put the new tour dates up on www.removethesite.com. If anyone knows of dates not listed, or who the local opening acts will be let me know and I'll add the info.
and how does Maplewood, MN get so lucky to have two Prong shows within a few weeks at the same venue? Seems they always play the St Paul/Maplewood area alot these past few years. That's about a seven hour drive for me.
and there is also a nice little hole in the schedule between oct 15 and 20. As they head south maybe I'll get lucky and they'll hit Omaha, KC, or Lawrence on their way to Texas hint, hint, hint :)

The host switched their pricing model, so we're moving it to another server that is more cost friendly. Flip's mentioned he would try and get the move done in the next several days.
It's not my site, I just help Flips out by creating content and fulfilling orders.

Studio Seven is my favorite venue in the northwest. They have drinks for the 21 and up upstairs in the balcony and all ages below. So it is the best of both worlds. If you are a kid, you can still get in. If you don't want to deal with kids, you can go upstairs. Both have a great view of the stage. Very cool set up.
