Being an avid fan, I once said hearing Barnes recite his grocery list would sound cool and I'm still sure it would. That said, I loved Haunted's imagery the most. Songs like Still Alive and The Enemy Inside, those are fuckin classics dealing with the horror of being undead and that sinister thing inside us all getting the better of us. The band's done songs about insanity (Victim of the Paranoid) and snapping on people (Ugly). I mainly like the dark stuff, just a nice cannibalistic take on violence and shit like that. I'm fine with whatever he growls about just so long as the band plays well and lyrics don't turn soft.
