Ok here is the deal. I go fishing with this guy at work. He is the real Jesus freak type. I can look past that shit. He is a super cool dude. He has never tried to convert and for the most part where I stand on Christiananity and my beef with it.

Well Thursday it was hot as fucking and I decided to wear my Bringer Of Blood shirt. I cut off the long sleeves last summer to keep cooler in the heat.;)
When it was time to go to work I thought "fuck wearing my **** aerospace uniform I just wear my BOB shirt.

As soon as I get inside work somebody notices the emblem on the back of the shirt. This person calls it a pentagram. I gave them a little bit of info on the pentagram and then explained sorry the thing on the back of the shirt has 6 points and not 5. So they apologized. Which was cool they admited they didn't know what the fuck they were talking about.

On to my Christian friend Paul whom I fish with alot. I do my usual when I walk through the grind shop. "Hey Paul how is your day going buddy" He immediately states. "Sorry I can't talk right now I have a attitude towards something in the grind shop" I gave him this wierd ass look and ask "whats is that?" All he could say is "I can't talk to you anymore your shirt is offended me."


Needless to say Paul no longer likes me and flipped me off the last time I said hello to him. It pissed me off at first but now I don't care.

At least the other guy that was giving me flack got fired.


Main reason I posted this because I want to know if any other fans have gone through the same shit because of a SFU shirt?

A friend of mine asked me if my Baphomet pendant was a Jewish star once.It irked me a little because I'm not Jewish.I'm glad he asked me so I could explain that it is a pentagram.It was actually kind of funny.Some people refer to me as Satanic that don't even know me but I could actually care less.I don't own any SFU T-Shirts yet.I'd like to get a SFU hat:evil . People have been offended by some of the shirts that I have worn in public. I do however try to take into consideration where I'm going and dress accordingly. Shows are a different story, I think anything goes there. This is where you can express yourself to others that aren't going to cry about what you're wearing.
Some comments that I've gotten about my SFU shirts are "Hey I watch that show!" At first I had no idea what the hell they were talking about , but someone said that there was a show on HBO called Six Feet Under.

But Stoner, I think the person whom you considered a friend is pretty shallow to withhold his friendship from you over a piece of fabric.

I get dirty look all the time. I have a dying fetus shirt and one time when I was walking around in the mall I was getting dirty look from every old person i walk by. I just laught about it.

I get alot of shit from people at my school as well. I am the only Death metal Head with long hair at my school. People try to give me shit about the shirts I wear but they dont fuck with me. they Mostly give me shit about my :headbanger cannibal corpse shirts. I try to wear the most sickest shirts to school and see if I can get away with it. Most of the time i do becasue they can read the band logos.

I know what you mean. Just be yourself, wear what ever shirt you want. If carzy people like Paul cant deal with the fact that their a 6 ponited star on your shirt and flip you off the next day at work then hes a complet asshole.

No mater where you go their is always going to be someone that dosnet like the shirt that you are wearing. It could be becasue the band name or the picture. People dont relise that you are just trying to be yourself. Dont let that shit get to you head. If you love death metal like I do, and wear the band t-shirts you shouldnt let no one come in the way of you and the music you like. I am proud to be a death metal head and i love every thing about the music.... So dont let dumb people like paul effect you from being yourself.

I've wore my Morbid Angel hoody with an inverted star and inverted cross around my college campus a lot and no one's said anytihng about it to me there, and I go to a college in rural Tennessee. :D But I've noticed a few looks at my shirt but nothing to my face. The only person that gave me shit about the shirt was my Dad and we've got in a big argument over it mainly because he can't understand why I'm an atheist as he's a Southern Baptist and so is the rest of the family so I don't really like to cause drama with my family, I just like to wear band shirts i like, he actually said the guys in Morbid Angel needed their asses kicked for wearing inverted stars and crosses, how Christian, :lol But yeah, it's mostly because I still live with him on the weekends from college. I got a Deicide shirt recently with the Deicide logo on the front and Stench of Redemption tour dates and I'm kinda surprised he never said anytihng about the name Deicide, it's a pretty clear logo. :lol

I have a White Zombie shirt - long sleeve. The sleeves have flaming pentacles on the sleeves, a flaming devil head guy on the front, and on the back it says "SAY YOU LOVE SATAN"

I have never gotten a negative or religious comment about that shirt. Mostly it's people saying "cool shirt!" - IF anyone wanted to bring up the pentacle I would give them an earful anyway. It is not a satanic symbol, but it is on a tongue in cheek shirt as one, and I happen to like that shirt more than any other in my collection. So let someone bring it up. There would be no "Im not talking to you anymore" It would be more like "We ARE going to have a discussion about this symbol that you completely misunderstand and are completely uneducated about"

Also, one of my best friends and his girlfriend have matching pentacle tattoos. They have to tell people how uneducated they are about that symbol constantly.
