The Diet 666 Recipe challenge!
So here are the rules:
Post a recipe for a one person meal.
The meal must equal exactly 666 calories.
Extra points if it contains something from every food group.
For now let's call this a Spring contest. So it will end on the first day of summer. If we get more then one person as the clear winner, we will do a one week poll.
The Winner can choose any one item in the Rock My Monkey merch store or the Diet 666 merch store.
The winner will of course be the best recipe that is exactly 666 calories.
I am the final judge of what "best" is. I will say that I am most interested in how it tastes, how fullfilling I feel after eating it, how easy it is to cook, and how healthy I feel it is.
You all however are the judges up until I make that final call.
i have no idea what the caloric intake of any of the food i eat is... i dont really check for fat/calories/sodium and the like... i find no need to with the type of diet i eat. i suppose that if i did some research, i'd come up with a recipe of some sort.

Well my diet is about counting calories. Not because I think calorie counting is everything. It is just a way to help with portion control.
For you this thing is going to be a major challenge. Can a raw vegan make a meal that will please a meat eater that hates ****ey food? :D

I would bet that sandwich I posted has a lot of calories what with the grapeseed oil and cheese.
Usually I'm not the calorie counting type. I look at ingredients and fat calories on prepared foods, but I don't figure out all of the calories of each meal I always eat. Especially on something I make with fresh ingredients for myself. :shrug
****ey food? :D
what kind of food? im making a health food recipe thread that doesnt count calories... in a day or 6.
SHUT UP AND DIE

Yeah, what kind of food?
And why do we have those censorshits over "racially sensitive" words? I thought maybe my pc went all PC on me.

Because "racially sensitive" words are not allowed on this site. Racism is ignorance and even if you are using the word in a "non racist" way, I just don't have any interest in the tired and boring debate.
I don't want to have to debate every single usage of every single word. So I auto censor it. This is in hopes that the person takes the hint and the problem goes away.

Reasons that does not qualify:
Not exactly 666 calories
Not a recipe
Not well balanced

I think you might have been the only one who entered.
How about this, just to be sure let's give everyone 24 hours to bump any recipe they posted that was exactly 666 calories. Then I can look at all of them. Cool?

I couldn't find any that were 666 calories. I did find one that was close though.

It was yours.
Hmmm? Should I decale a winner even if not one recipe was to the directions? Maybe we should go by which one tastes better?
Has anyone tried any of these besides the person who posted them?

That's the depressing part. I don't think so. :cry
I do want to know if anyone tried any of your recipes though. I think having a recipe/cooking segment to the vid-cast would be awesome.

Our problem is that right now we are doing our best to get rid of as much sugar out of our diet as we can. I might be able to see if we can alter things and create a non-sugar version, but that wouldn't be the actual thing. Losing the weight is my main goal right now, so I have to make that the priority. Right now this means keeping the sugar intake as low as possible. Sorry but my I need to do this.
This contest was also a total failure. No one but us really paid attention. I know that sucks, but it does seem to be the reality.

Well, as I posted above no one really even entered anything that fit the rules of the contest. So no one won. Sorry, I thought I said that before. That is why I called the contest an utter failure and gave up on it. :cry
