haha, dude, you dont know the half of it...

my babysitter listened to gnr, depeche mode and poison and i idolized him... i begged and begged to get the gnr tape and my aunt finally bought it for me and then after hearing it, she wanted to take it away cuz of all of the swearing so i had to hide it... i listened to it religiously until it broke 2 or 3 years later. one of my favorite memories of my childhood have to do with me and my friend, issac, dancing around the house to gnr and every time a swear word came out from axl, we'd look at eachother and count how many times axl had cursed in the song.

Haha, I don't know about the Poison, but that is a cool story. I don't understand how you don't like them now then with such positive memories. Me and my friends did that with Will Smith - Miami and while I know it is a bad song I still love it because of what it was too me 10 years ago.

Damn, you are a youngin'! :D I was running away from my mother and step dad's house to get to my fathers house in California at that time. Starting my senior year of high school at Rancho high school.

its not that i dont like gnr, its that i just dont find them extreme enough to pay attention anymore. i'll still crank it up when i hear em.
