i dont force my veganism on others, if that is what you are asking. i am a raw foodist vegan, which means i dont eat cooked food, but that's mine, my wife and son's thing. other people can do whatever the hell they want. it works for us though.

okay, this is just plain weird, but, i was on my way to the store to get some supplies for my business when i saw something small flopping on the other side of the street... i thought that it was a piece of plastic or something blowing in the wind, but as my car drove closer, i saw that it was a large mouse or a small rat that was flopping in pain in the middle of the road because it had just been ran over by another car. i didnt want to leave it there in pain so i slowed down and ran over it with both of the tires on my car to make sure that it would die and not suffer anymore. i know that what i did was the humane thing to do, but i sure as fuck wish it didnt have to be me that did it. poor little fella.

when you cook food, you cook out the live enzymes and the vast majority of nutrients in the food. cooking food changes the composition of the food and the nutritional content of the food considerably. the live enzymes in food are important to digestion, because w/o those enzymes, your body relies on your pancreas to produce enzymes for your food to digest. ever wonder why you get tired after eating? it is because your body has to use energy to digest food. with the way i eat, i dont get tired after eating because my food is digesting its self, thanks to the live enzymes that are already in the food before it is cooked.

its not like i am eating raw carrots and broccoli all day long. i use food processors and dehydrators and make some seriously good food. i make a cheesecake out of almonds and cashews. i make garlic bread out of a tomato/pepper sauce and jicama. i make fudge out of almond butter and coconut meat. tortillas out of corn and peppers with fajita filling out of marinated mushrooms, peppers and onions.

its a pretty interesting way to go through life. ive been doing it for four months now and have lost 40 lbs. ive lost 110 lbs in the last 2 years since i have started going down the road to making myself healthy. i weighed 370 lbs 2 years ago and am down to 260... i havent weighed 260 since i was a freshmen in high school. i had to do something about some pretty bad health problems, and instead of taking drugs to correct things, i decided to do things the natural way and it has really worked well for me. im losing the weight that i need to lose. i dont have the health problems AT ALL, anymore. those went away when i went vegan. since becoming raw, i feel even better than i did when i went vegan.

it works for me. i guess it sounds weird, but i enjoy it.
