Who wrote more pussified songs; Bon Jovi during their entire career or Def Leppard after Pyromania?

it isn't a choice, but I vote both bands... :pool

Bon Jovi was always pussified. Def Leppard had some great straight up rock albums. I always loved Def Leppard, but Bon Jovi I could live without. I don't mind it when their songs come on the videos channels or XM channels I listen to, but I have zero interest in owning any of their cd's.

They were probably about equal, but Def Leppard might have been a bit lighter. They still wrote better songs than Bon Jovi though. The two are so completely different though.

Indeed. High N' Dry is a killer album that stands up to any straight up hard rock album released during the early 80's and Bon Jovi was always pussified. I also like what I've heard from On Through The Night and I've been meaning to pick up for a long time.

Now no smack talkin' about Europe. Joey has the most dreamy eyes. :rotfl

I'm judging them solely on their song "The final countdown"
I've never heard any of their other stuff. (thank god):)

Eh,..I know Bradzilla likes them too,..maybe they must have some redeeming stuff I've never heard

Good lord man, you must've been in a coma during the year(s) they played the holy fuck out of Europe's horrid ballad "Carrie". I puke a little in my mouth whenever I even think of that godawful song.

Damn, I had successfully blocked out that shitty song until now. With that said, how did it not come up in the "Most Pussified Songs Ever Written" thread that I started not too long ago?

Probably because I've been on hiatus...

"Carrie" is rivaled in wussiness only by Stryper's ballads. I don't care what anyone says though, "The Final Countdown" rocks.

Yeah, their ballads are pretty "metrosexual", but I like pretty much anything they did that wasn't a ballad. :D

Bon Jovi is a super puss. At least Def Leppard knew how to rock.
