To see West and Swanson on the same stage would be WHOAAA. As talent wise goes on who does it best I'd give it to steve, but allen west is definatly more groovy and heavy. While Steve Swanson st more out of control rip your face off and stick it in a blender kind of style. Either way you cant go wrong with any one of them.

I say bad ass! The stuff they've done is different from each other, even though it's all good. I dunno who does it better cause plays different in the various albums. Even in the live stuff of the first albums with Steve, it sounds different, but both are good. The live stuff of the first albums sounds faster and the albums with West sound heavier and slower.

Both Steve and Allen are equally both badass gutarist. Ya they both got two different styles of music, but they both got kickass bands that are still going strong. Both dudes are great guys to meet in person. I got a chance to meet them both, Steve, on the crossroads to the armageddion tour, march25,06 and Allen on the mini westcoast tour may26,06. :brootal

Yes it would be nice, both are great guitar players, I didn't even know that Allen and Barnes started seeing things in a different light towards the end.

I prefer Steve over Allen.Not that Allen isnt a good player but Steve'e leads and riffs are better.Plus when Steve joined,SFU got heavier.SFU dont need another guitarist.Their perfectly fine as four piece

I think It would be very cool. I always preferred two guitars. But it probably won't happen. They have their own bands and I like them both. I will be very happy when I see the new tour with Steve, Greg, Terry, and what was the singers name? oh ya CB420.

I think it would rock. Just for the novelty of it all. The thing is might not work with the two differant styles.

Plus I think Steve does a fantastic job as being the only guitar player of the band.
