i am more than just a little displeased at this rude attempt to get more ticket sales
Die Hard was meant to be rated R. Yes, this is a little petty, but so what? McClane's catch phrase is "yippi kai yah mother fucker"
you can't say mother fucker in a PG13 movie.
Do you understand what I mean?
I'm not writting this off though, on the contrary I'm excited to see if they pu ll it off
either way - the rated R or unrated version will be on dvd in a few months anyway
/end rant
anybody else seeing this on wednesday?

Yeah, that is a little disappointing. I am going to this for the violence and vulgarity's. SO to tone those down is a bummer. We will still go see it next weekend. No mid-week movies for us. Too busy.

Yeah, it's just more relaxing for us to see movies on the weekends.

The rating reminds me of when they put Predator (from 2 rated R movies) up against the Aliens (from a series of rated R movies) together and ended up with a PG-13 movie.
No matter though, I'll still watch Die Hard, especially after the glorious cheese of the line: Justin Long - "You just killed a helicopter with your car!" McClane - "I was out of bullets."

I saw it last night at midnight. It is a fun, action-packed movie in the Die Hard tradition, and I would recommend any Die Hard fan to see it.

i thought they did a great job
I loved it
truly worth being a "die hard"
if you like action, one liners , or just DIE hard in general
see this movie
(and the obviousness of the coming unrated - if you saw the obvious over dubbs and edits - make this good movie even better [i hope])
