as most of you noticed (or haven't) i haven't been posting much lately. i've been pretty sick. in any case...a huge factor to me being sick is the fact that my cholesterol was through the roof (on top of the whole lymes disease/kidney failure thing). my doctor told me i can only eat things with absolutely no cholesterol for a while. i've been doing this for a month now and the only things i've been eating are chicken, corn, bread, and fruit.
the great part is that i've lost almost 15lbs already.
the horrible part is that i don't eat enough now.
it's funny how quick you lose your appetite when you can only eat the same things every day for the rest of your life. it also sucks because most of the time i don't have time to cook/prepare these things before i go to work. also, if i go out with friends, i usually don't eat at all that day because there's no food (resturaunt/takeout wise) that i can eat. i've tried indulging myself every once in a while with a slice of pizza or a hamburger, but now that my body's not used to it, i just puke it up. it sucks really bad. so right now i'm pretty much starving and so unernergized all of the time that i can't even make it through 5 hours of work without crashing or fainting.
does anyone have any suggestions at all for a quick, filling, and tastefull meal that doesn't include cholesterol of any sort? i'd really appreciate any input you may have.

Wow! That is some pretty heavy shit. Can your doctor recommend a dietitian? A dietitian can make up full menu's with snacks and everything. That way you can have a few meals pre-made so that you are good to run out the door in the morning for work, run out with your friends, or whatever with a backpack full of food that is travel ready.

So talk to a dietitian and have them get you a list of foods that fit your lifestyle as well as your health needs. Good luck! :cool
