I always thought that GG Allin was some of the worst music ever. His so called shock was really all he had going for him. Calling him punk is more of an insult to punk then the watered down punk bands of today.

yeah, allin's music was most certainly horrible... but the dude definitely had balls... i hope he rots in hell for raping animals though.

I wouldn't even say he had balls. I just think he was fucked in the head. The same thing that caused him to rape animals is just no too different then the mental issues that cause one to do any number of other things that are more commonly accepted as not ok/legal by even the most "wild" sex fiends.
Sorry, but I have so little respect for him.

I only watched a few minutes of it, and really - what a douche. I mean, how are you supposed to know what kind of show he puts on if you've never been to one and at the same time how are you supposed to go to one and "know what to expect" ??? that doesn't make any sense.
Mostly I just think he was talking out of his ass for the sake of being on Jerry Springer, because his show was all about how shocking or weird you could be.

You're right, he didn't; he had microballs. Honestly, I think he was a dirty scumfuck, but then again, he thought so, too. I wouldn't have gone to any of his shows, as I wouldn't want shit thrown at me or to have a naked dude covered in filth running at me or people around me, but he was one crazy dude. Though his music sucked, it made me laugh and was very entertaining (and even more entertaining when my first punk band tried to cover 'Bite it, You Scum' and the guitarist couldn't even play that). Although probably no one here would want to call him a punk, the whole being contrary to society's rules was what GG was all about. To the extreme. He was the very definition of punk, and in the worst kind of way. I probably would've hated his foul guts if I ever met him, but I still have somewhat of an appreciation for how much looney shit he did.
