ok. so about three weeks ago, my friends urged me to go compete in the regional air guitar competetion. so much so that i got really excited about it. i mean shit, you get wasted, go on stage, and act like and ass (it's my favorite thing to do in the entire world)...plus i can shred air like nobody's business...and you do this all under an alter-ego which i deffinitly already have every time i go on stage.
anyway...i tried to find someone, ANYONE, to cover my shift at work for that night so i could go compete. the only person that could possibly cover me was this new girl michelle (she's been with our company about 3 months now). i called her up and begged and pleaded with her, telling her i'd split the cash with her if i won and that i'd cover any shift of hers she wanted. at first she said she didn't "feel like working three days in a row". first of all, i'd give my left tit to get hours like that. then she made up some excuse that she had to go to breakfast with her grandma. i'm like dude, my shift you'd need to cover starts at 6PM. she gave me an additude and said no, sorry, there's absolutely no way. so i was basically heartbroken for about a week or more and helpless because i couldn't go.
finally, my BOSS boss gets back from vacation, and my manager told her about my situation. my boss straight up got pissed and really wanted me to go too (especially because if i went to national/international finals i'd represent our company). so she called up michelle and chewed her out for being a little snot (she's been being a bitch to my other co-workers/managers as well) and somehow got her to cover my shift. i got down on my knees and thanked my boss for doing that for me.
i raced home happy as fuck so i could put my $20 in online to enter...and to my dismay i had waited too long, and the participating list was full. again, smashed, right in my face. all because this little fucking cunt (pardon my language, but she really is) didn't feel like helping me out, even after i've covered about 10 of her shifts so far when i had other shit to do.
so now i have to wait til next year. this is crap.
sorry, but i had to rant, because if i see her today at work, i'm going to strangle her.
