Seriously. One of the contacts we work with all the freakin' time (I have two interviews with their artists just today) just offered me an interview with Deep Purple.

DEEP FUCKING PURPLE!

So then this very cool press agent asks me the most painful question. "What member of Deep Purple do you want to interview?"

So now I am staring at the member list and going nuts. How do you choose something like that?

Now here is a wet dream for me! I love Purple....always have, always will. My son Iain got his name from a combination of Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull, and the two Ian's from Purple.

As to the interview...not Gillan, everyone interviews him. I would be fine with any of the others. I am a huge Roger Glover fan, love Ian and Steve, too. Loved the Dregs and Steve's work with Kansas. But I voted Don not only because he is the best classic rock keyboardist playing right now, but his work with Rainbow was amazing. Plus, you almost never see an interview with him. It would be interesting to hear his take on replacing an absolute legend (Jon Lord).

My preferences in order would be Don, Roger, Ian P, Steve, and finally Ian G.

This ought to be great!!!!

That IS a tough call.

Proably Paice or Morse.

Ritchie Blackmore...wait whoops. :P

This is a hard question. I would say Roger Glover. That would be my pick, but Ian Paice would be cool also considering he is one fucking good drummer. Next it would be Steve Morse.

Ian Paice - He's one of the greatest rock drummers of all-time.....:pootoss

He's been through it all with Purple and was even in Whitesnake back when they were good.

I would love to see someone shine a light on his impressive career..:thumbsup
