Lately my 360 has been being a bitch. I've had it since last October the first problem was when it lost all my data for Crackdown. I rented it, got pretty far, returned it, rented it about two weeks later and it said the data was corrupted and I thought, "Okay this happens every once in awhile, no big thing." It went about three or four months with no problems. So now I go to play Saints Row and not only is all the data gone, this includes my brothers profile, but when I go to start a new game it skips character creation and loads a guy with no pants or shirt and a missing mid-section. Anybody else have problemslike this with their 360? I'm debating on getting it serviced or something Any ideas?

Several people I know have had to get theirs fixed, but I've had one for about a year and never had those kinds of problems. I say get it serviced. As long as it's under warranty they'll fix it.

where i work people come in all the time trying to return xbox360s, ps3s, and zunes. apparently all are having severe problems and technical malfunctions.

the 360s have gameplay malfunctions and also tend to overheat. this is covered by the warranty of the company though (not the store).

the ps3s overheat also and some even start smoking or catch on fire and can fry the whole system. this is also covered by warranty the company provides.

the zunes' screens are cracking because either the battery overheats or the slightest knock on the screen will shatter the interior screen crystals. this is NOT covered by the company nor the store. (trust me, there are a lot of pissed off people because of this, including my boyfriend). (john, i think kent showed you).

in any case, i'd write a letter and/or send your 360 in to the company so that they can fix it or replace it. you have to have the warranty to do so though.

I always buy the extended warranty for items like these for just that sort of reason (mp3 player, game console, computer, etc)

Who is this John you speak of my name is Fleshy. :P

Seriously tho I hate this new generation of consoles but when something new comes out i always wait for the second or later generation of that product for fewer problems. I did it with ipods the slimmer ps2 and my imac everything i have tech wise works fine not many problems so i refuse to buy any consoles until I feel like I can make a investment I can enjoy. I kinda hate how this high def thing is being hyped granted it's cool but it's nothing new just a way to get more cash out of you unless you don't have a cool computer or big screen tv. Not very impressed in this "new" tech all new consoles are is just stripped down computers controlled by gampads. In fact the Xbox 360 Bill Gates admitted in a interview The Xbox 360 is just a G5 tower Mac made cheaply with a weaker heat sink than what a tower mac has suppose you get what you pay for.

Yeah, I was already aware of that, kinda funny in a way.
