After hearing so many people rave about how great and kickass this movie was, I was pretty disappointed with it. Did anybody else watch it? The graphics and whatnot were killer, but I'm not sure why people think this movie is so great. I was really bored to tears with it.

I am the complete opposite. I loved the movie. It may have been a simple plot compared to many these days but it was a classic epic kind of tale. The visuals are definitely not to be missed but it isn't like that is all it has going for it.

Just saw it.....the movie was ok, but those graphic backgrounds were VERY annoyingly distracting. Made it look like I was watching some animated shit online.....I dunno, meh. But the tit shots were great and there were lots of deaths, strange beasts/fighters, and of course.....random imperviousness to pain.

Watched it last night. Think that it would have been much better on the big screen. I mean, the action was cool, the special effects were good, but the acting was pretty weak, and the story obviously only briefly met the historical facts. But even so, we enjoyed it and will more than likely watch it a few more times.

Eh.....concerning what? Another thing that got on my nerves (and this is happening with tons of new movies), was the damn cg blood. Is it too expensive to create live blood effects nowadays? What gives? Who decided one day "eh....fuck it.....this fake cg blood spatter/splash looks MUCH more real than liquid blood.....hell, we'll fool millions with this crap.

Same damn thing with Pathfinder.....a cool movie with that annoying cg blood.

Personally, I thought the whole thing looked like the worst CGI every overhyped. Of course I am just going by the previews. :shrug
