Thanks to you I just found out about Heir Apparent, and I must say that they seem to be a kick-ass band. According to Metal Archives, they only put out two albums in the 80's, and haven't released once since '89. However, their profile at MA states that Heir Apparent's status is active, so does that mean that they will release a new album soon?

Terry Gorle, lead guitarist and founding member, has been trying to assemble a lineup stable enough and committed enough to write a new album. After appearances in Greece and at the Keep It True festival last year, the touring lineup has basically parted ways. Last I heard, Terry was discussing a lineup including a former Pyramaze vocalist (can't remember who--probably discussed in depth in Mark's recent interview.). I'd personally like to see a stable lineup myself--the band is huge in Europe and Greece especially--you'd think there'd be fistfights for a chance to play in it, but that's not the case.

Nope, my interview was before this info was known. I am sure I will get another interview as soon as Terry does release a new cd though.

However, I think you pretty much give everything that Terry has said about it so far. :cool

Terry just needs to move to Greece. They worship him over there, and he'd probably have an easier time getting a decent lineup together than he does over here. Seattle has slim pickings for trad metal.

If he moved over there he would be a god.
