Tough call between Moving Pictures and 2112, but I've gotta go with Moving Pictures.

"HEMISPHERES" is the musicians choice...:hmmm
Everything by RUSH up to "MOVING PICTURES" is classic.
Here's a nice review of the RUSH show I saw earlier this month.

Hemispheres for me. While in grade school, my peers we're listening to the Bee Gees and crap like that, i was listening to RUSH. I guess they were the band as a child that I heard and liked, and they started me on my path to loving hard rock

Temples Of Syrinx is one of the first songs I started figuring out after I got my first guitar at 12yrs. old.I love his vocals on that song.2112 is a haunting album.
maybe Moving Pictures would come in second for their song Witch Hunt.

Can't decide-- instinct says 2112, it's alaways been my favorite, but Moving Pictures has held up to the test of time very well. It's also one of those "no bad songs" albums.

Side 1 of that album got all the radio play, but side 2 doesn't get enough credit for being as good as it is. Glad to see other people here who recognize the total greatness of that album.

"Moving Pictures" is a great album,
I probably like it a little less than others because it's always on the radio.
It's funny how a lot of us don't like bands as much once they become popular.
None of the RUSH songs before Moving Pictures were ever over-played, they still sound fresh...:overkill
