It's a great cartoon. And the involvement of Gene Hoglan makes it even more metal than it already is.

I LOVE this cartoon......it's a great roast of every single extreme metal cliche on the planet. There's so much little stuff in each episode that only the more extreme metal fans will understand....references to various bands and songs.
Cannibal Corpse got a decent namedrop in one of the episodes with their song titles. Not to mention Mr. Corpsegrinder did some voice work in one of the shows.
im going to figure that this is metalocalypse. this show is fucking rad. just got the dethalbum by dethklok last week. good shit.

I thought Corpsegrinder did all the voices fot the singer.:wtf
Actually, because of that I thought maybe he's o.k. after all.
I don't care much for the music but the show's watchable.

I think Brendon Small, one of the creators, does some of the voices and music, including Nathan Explosion.

George did the voice of an antogonistic customer for a scene where Nathan Explosion was dreaming that he worked at a burger joint. :) He never did Nathan's voice, but goddamn if N.E. isn't created in almost the exact image of George.

Well it is a cartoon so of course it is fake. That is what most like about it. It makes it funny. It's kind of a modern day Spinal Tap. Yes, there are some live dates announced but if you think you are going to see a real Nathan Explosion on stage you will be very disappointed.
The drummer is Gene Hoglan for the live dates.

No I meant I thought they weren't actually playing music. They are making fans sign pain waivers before you can go into the show.
