What a great movie! I am peeved I didn't see it sooner. It was so awesome. I love movies where bad-ass giganto dudes take on a million cops and win. Marv is like the coolest character in any movie ever. After watching this movie I had a dream where I was outrunning the cops lol.

Welcome to the party lol. Its a good one for sure. Marv is easy to like but my favorite character is probably Hartigan.

Yeah, Hartigan's character probably had the best development. The involvement with Nancy's character was pretty cool too. I like when things tie in together like that.

That was a very strange and tweaky movie. To be honest I can't remember if I liked it or not. :uhoh

Hehe, I tried watching it first like 2 weeks ago but I fell asleep. This last time when I watched the whole thing, the first hour or so was notably slow. I mean there were some really good lines and some cool action, but I didn't "Get" what was going on for quite some time. I just found that I had to stick with it. It got interesting and was worth the wait.

Looks like I gave it three stars on Netflix, so I must have liked it at least a little. :shrug

Lol. I have totally rated something before, and then see it again and go "why did I rate it so low (or high in some cases). Good old netflix, I heart thee.

I just can never remember what I thought of something. I look at old reviews for that reason too. :tard <--me

Sin City just may be my favorite movie, and I hope that the next installment will be released before the next century.

Yes, that is actually one thing I have always loved about whenever they turn a comic book or graphic novel into a movie... Some comic book movies end up really really cheesy almost to the point of unwatchable (Fantastic 4 anyone?) but SOME end up looking really awesome, such as the obvious Sin City, and I always thought the visual style of Dick Tracy was really cool too.

I was totally blown away by it too. Top show, mickey O'rouke outstanding and so too evrybody else...except Clive Owen, who is a total wanker ! They should have got BRUCE CAMBPELL to play that role, methinks

Heh. I was pulling for Clive Owen to be the new James Bond.

Interesting. I must say that Clive Owen is a damn good actor, and that no one else could have portrayed Dwight McCarthy as well as he did.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one. In fact, that just may have been the only reason why I'd watch one of those sorry-ass Bond movies.

That being said I really enjoyed Casino Royale and like Daniel Craig in the role :D
