Silver buttons: Leave em or change em?

Ok, so it has been proposed that that the silver buttons on HAH look lame. So here is a poll.

I like the metal buttons myself, but I also want to give the user collective as much control as possible. So it is up to you all.

I think if they were shiny, they'd look more metal. But mostly they just look like gray buttons with blue text that doesn't match the rest of the page.

Those buttons don't really bug me as much as the other stuff I mentioned in the other thread though.

In order to make the front page more uniform, I'd change em... BUT if you really like them, then keep em... people will deal.

Interesting. The person who brought it up said they should be less shiny.

I do like the way they are interactive now. I can't think of how to design them to do that without them being metal though. :shrug

Instead of blue letters, do you think that the dark red or green would be better?

Yeah, a color that has been used already on the page, so the dark red might be a good text color for those.

Ok, I will give that a try. I want to wait for the wife to get home to make any further changes. She helps pick out the correct hex codes for me. :uhoh
