They're pretty cool. Steve DiGiorgio played some bass on the debut and with Bobby Jarzombek on drums you've got a killer combination.

Some of the songs definitely sound like leftovers from material he may have written for Halford, and I've always felt the guitar tone on the album leaves a little to be desired; despite all this I do enjoy them!

They have some good songs.

I think there's supposed to be a second album coming out isn't there? I've had Metal For Life for a couple years, and for the most part it's musically quite good, but Tim Clayborne is not the right guy to be their vocalist. They need someone who can sing sing to make the songs memorable.

Unfortunately I have not found anything about a second Painmuseum album at any site that's related to the band, but I'm sure that Mike Chlasciak will get to work on that once he's done with Sebastian Bach's Angel Down tour.

As for Tim Clayborne, I'd say that's he a pretty damn versatile vocalist, but Painmuseum probably would be a better band if they had a vocalist who could sing. Regardless, I'd also say that Painmuseum's a pretty fucking badass band, and I'm glad that I stumbled across them by playing a six degrees of separation at Metal Archives.
