Can you get too old for metal? Can fans get too old to appreciate metal or rock-n-roll? Can the musicians themselves get too old?? Can metal be too mature or serious for different age groups?

Older thAn.

I don't think people get too old for metal, but I think some get so stuck on the style that was popular when they were teenagers or in their 20's that they are unwilling to open up to new styles. They refuse to call certain genres "metal" and nit pick like little whiny bitches.

When really, we're all in the same boat and we should support each other. If it makes you bang your head, it's metal. :thumbs

Sooooo not true. I have seen people "bang their head" to full on rap and pop. I've seen people mosh to a power ballad. I've seen people give metal horns to emo. This is also a totally different debate. :P

I'll never be too old....fuck that.....I'll be going to shows until I can no longer hear. On the other hand, I think somewhat differently when I see these newer bands with hardcore-dancing queerbaits in their crowd and I just can't relate....to the scenestership that is.
