Saw the news reports about major flooding in Rockford.

Yep, I'm still alive. Found out my car isn't compatible with lakes. We got stranded for about an hour after going through a huge puddle, but after the spark plugs dried out she started right up (thank God!) My parents' house got it pretty good. Last time I talked to them they had about 5 or 6 inches of water in their basement and garage. My sister had a hail drift in her back yard. It was a trip to see that one! The pics on rrstar.com are pretty wild. Can't believe that happened around here!
