Barney, Lee Dorian, or the guy from Extreme Noise Terror that replaced Barney for about 10 seconds? If it's Barney then I don't entirely agree, but he certainly rules the stage when he's up there.

Both Barney & Lee Dorian are amazingly cool and down to earth guys. I have met both a few times and they are always about as humble and approachable as anyone could be.

That'd be Barney. Onstage, the dude is a monster. Offstage, like Mark said, totally cool guy.

Actually....onstage, he's kind of a dork....I mean that in a good way. Oh, and btw....Code also featured Jamey Jasta (Hatebreed), Jello Biafra, and Carcass's Jeff Walker.
SPEAKING of Napalm Death.....I HAVE to say this......this new tour they are going on FUCKING BLOWS!!!!!!! 36 Crazyfists, Walls OF Jericho, and Devildriver......and ND are not even headlining. Blasphemy of the WORST kind, I say. The number of shadow boxers at this show is going to make me ill......nevertheless, because I love ND so much and have missed them the last 5-6 times, I will go and suffer (heh) through the trendy kids.

According to Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_%22Barney%22_Greenway) he got the name back when he used to booze up.

:D
I never thought of him as a dork, but I can kinda see that, the way he moves around. There's just something about Napalm Death onstage, the energy they have that just comes through their performances, especially Barney, it's really powerful. Not a lot of other bands can measure up.

Agreed. Barney kinda looks like he's exercising onstage, lol. I noticed the same thing with Tommy from Divine Heresy onstage, that dude looks like he's doing straight up exercises onstage....it's funny. :rotfl

yeah he sorta looks like that, but there's nothing dorky about the way he's yelling in that mic. What kinda caught my attention is he's just like some normal guy.I'm glad he didn't write any songs called "Save the pound puppies" or any of that shit or I'd be let down...

Heh...you should read their lyrics sometime......don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking ND at ALL, and they are easily one of my top 3 favorite bands. BUT....Greenway's (and the previous vocalists) lyrics are a tad...um...pinko commie left wing let's all hug and shake dicks at each other. Nevertheless, ND play brutal grind and I love every album/song in their collection. If I have to listen to a band that talks about their feelings, this is the band for me.
