Matt Barlow is back in Iced Earth!

I'm torn, cause I think Barlow is a fantastic singer and really the best fit for Iced Earth, but with him taking over on the next album it's gonna sound kinda weird if you listen to part 1 then part 2 back to back. Unless they're planning to have Barlow record vocals for part 1 and re-release it.

I'm torn also but for different reasons. I knew it had to happen someday and I am glad that it has... however Jon's writing has been slipping as of late as evidenced by the last few Iced Earth releases and the latest Demons and Wizards album as well so do I really want to hear Matt singing on mediocre material? I dunno.

Hopefully Pyramaze kicks ass.

Maybe Matt helps Jon get the creative juices flowing. I think that this is great for Iced Earth, I didn't really like Tim's voice on the albums. It will be weird with part 1 and part 2 having different singers, but I think overall it will be for the better.
