What does everyone here think of this band?
I must say that I'm finally getting into them.

There are some songs I like. It's strange, most band's either have great vocals or boring vocals. This guy is one of the few where the vocals are hit and miss for me. Some songs he sounds great, but others he bores me to no end. The music is always at least decent though.

I'm starting to come around with them also. The first time I listened to them it didn't do much for me, but now I think they are pretty cool. I like their old stuff much better than their newer stuff.

I agree with you completely about CoB.
The first time I listened to them was a little over two years ago, before I got used to/more into "harsh/extreme" vocals. I also wasn't expecting keyboards to be present in their music for some reason at the time, but now that I now more about them it's become easier for me to focus on the killer guitar playing more than anything else.

"In Your Face" is a cool song.
As for the covers, the Britney Spears one was fucking hilarious, and the other one was okay. They also covered "Shot in the Dark" by Ozzy Osbourne, which features great music and horrid vocals. When it comes to Alexi's vocals, they're fine for CoB songs and should be reserved solely for them.
Last but not least, have you heard "Every Time I Die" from the Follow the Reaper album? It's my favorite CoB song thus far, and something tells me you'll like it.
Here it is:

They bore me to fucking tears. I liked them at first... then the next day, after I sobered up from being drunk, I decided against liking them. Just not my thing... and I love melodeath. I've seen them twice due to wanting to see other bands (First time they were opening for Fear Factory and Lamb of god, second time they headlined on the same bill with Amon Amarth and Trivium [which would have been the most horrible show in the world had not Amon Amarth, who opened, not been the greatest band in the world cuz Trivium SUCKS live]). Very talented band, just not exactly what I am into.
Where the hell has Fuzzay Crisis been? She'd be all over this thread.

When did the show with Amon Amarth, Trivium and CoB take place?

Have been into them for a few years. The earlier stuff was alot more fun to listen to guitar wise but still they are high on the chops scale.
