Watched this with Mrs The Vish yesterday and I must say that this movie will go down in history as one of THE WORST movies that I have ever seen. I can't even fathom who the fuck thought that this movie full of epic F.A.I.L. could possibly be made. I love Matt Damon movies, but he sure fell off of the radar when it comes to making a good movie with this one. The only good acting was from Heath Ledger, the dead gay cowboy. Ugh.

The original story tales were cool but yeah that movie wasn't nearly as good as I had hoped for.

wasnt it out in theaters around the same time as lord of the rings? definitely came off as on one of those lame attempts at an epic movie.

i agree. it was pretty bad. it could have been a whole lot better, darker, and more gruesome.
