The inclusion of Heathen, particularly one of my favorite parts of the incredible "Breaking the Silence" album, gets this post a horns up. Lee Altus and Doug Piercy were a very underrated guitar duo.

All good bands. Except Slayer. Still meh on them. Meh on Destruction, too.

Man, even I love Slayer. Destruction is pretty cool also.

Meh on the newer material he used for that vid, or on Destruction altogether?

I'm glad that I'm not the only one here who doesn't think much of Slayer.

Perhaps I would if they had guitarists who knew how to play leads. Shit, even Hammett is better than King and Hanneman in that regard. Sad...

I could care less about that. Slayer writes riffs, good riffs. Its sometimes a breathe of fresh air to listen to Slayer and Anthrax and not hear them wanking half of the song. Slayer gets all the credit they deserve. They are a very consistent band also.

Destruction altogether I suppose. I never really got into them, no idea why. I'll admit they are a good band, but they just never struck a chord for me. Figuratively speaking, of course.
