View Full Version : Best Motley Crue album?
Thanks to SLASHer's thread about the band's new song, I'm curious as to what everyone's favorite album by them is.
Mine's Shout at the Devil, which I actually consider to be one of the best metal albums of the early 80's as well.

Shout at the Devil, is great front to back. My favorite 2 songs by the Crue are Girls, Girls, Girls and Wild Side. I love those 2 songs.

Songs, eh? If I absolutely had to choose one Crue song, it would be "Livewire," ever so slightly ahead of "Dr. Feelgood" and "Looks that Kill."

Yes, all 3 of those songs kick ass also! One thing Motley Crue always has in there good songs is killer riffs. I just mentioned I liked Girls, Girls, Girls, and Wild Side because they are from the same album. The rest of that album kind of sucks though.
I've always been partial to Dr Feelgood. I have yet to hear the album they did with John Corabi, though. From what I understand, it's actually a pretty decent disc.

When I'm in the right mood.

The first three tracks rule, the rest of them are just there: They're not good or bad. Track two, "Uncle Jack," is the best on the disc, and a fantastic song in general.
