Oh yes, I knew this whole time I was missing out on a classic. This is why I love netflix so much. I can see all those classic iconic films I never saw before.

I really enjoyed this film. The acting was great. It was amazing to see such a young Al Pacino, such a young Diane Keaton (!?)...

Something I discussed with my husband: It seems like "gangster" films - or pretty much just ANY film nowadays is dumbed down so to speak. It was like you had to actually pay attention to the story and the characters to know who they were talking about later in the film. A great classic on all accounts I believe...

From what I read/heard #2 is even better, so I've got that coming next.

the part of that movie that I remember most is when he's banging that lady against against the wall and you keep hearing that little squeaking sound:monkey

The Godfather Trilogy is the second best trilogy ever (Star Wars IV-VI gets my nod for best ever) and Godfather II is definitely the cream of the crop of the Trilogy. Young Al Pacino and a young Robert DiNero. Linda, I have the boxed set if you wanna borrow it. I've watched them many times and I never get sick of them.

The boxed set? Sweet! Well I've got #2 coming in netflix today and #3 is next on my list to be mailed, so I'll probably have them watched before I see you next, but thanks for the offer. Speaking of seeing you next, let's make a plan soon :)

WORD! We'll need to set that up. It sucks that we can't talk all day on messenger anymore since I got the new job. I'll be on messenger Friday, though.
