These guys are trying to hard to cover up their Exodus influence haha. Another good thrash band. Check them out.

Thus far, "Psychotic Pulse" is fucking killer.
I also like how so many prominent thrash and metal bands are listed as their influences and Metallica is not one of them.

That wouldn't be the cool thing to do these days. Can you be a thrash metal band and not be influenced in someway or another by Metallica?

That's true, but it's also true that they've received a little too much credit in regards to thrash's success. Then again, what really gets me about Metallica is that so many thrash bands that sounded nothing like Metallica were referred to as "Metallica rip-offs."

Yeah, they do recieve ALOT of credit.
I have now heard all four songs on ByB's MySpace page, and it's clear that I need to get their new album, Feed the Beast, as soon as possible.
These guys are fucking badass!

I saw Bonded By Blood with Merciless Death last night, playing to just about no one in Everett WA. It was my first time hearing BBB, and I must say I was surprised how good they are. They have a lot of energy on the stage, and the music is true thrash without sounding like a total ripoff. Also they're super nice guys, down to earth and just happy to be able to be on the road. The same can be said of Merciless Death, btw. I highly recommend both the new Merciless Death (which I got on vinyl in a sweet gatefold with artwork by the legendary Andreas Marschall) for that total old Destruction/Exumer/Onslaught style and the just-released debut from Bonded By Blood, for pure CA style thrash.

That's exactly what I thought when I first heard them, and one of the main reasons why they're my favorite new thrash band. However, Evile is a VERY close second.

I like Evile the most. They fucking kick ass. I'm saving up money for "Enter the Grave" but I have to get it shipped to my house.

I have an interview podcast with Bonded By Blood and one by Merciless Death that should be posted by Monday. Sad to say the sound quality isn't the greatest. I do have to say that they are great and down to earth guys. Once I get this new system figured out I might have to hunt them down for another interview.

Bonded By Blood told me they're coming back in August, you could do a live interview. I think Dave Conn is the one booking the show, pretty sure that's who booked their current WA tour.

I heard a rumor that BBB is going to tour the states with Evile sometime this year. :thumbs

Yup, all the interviews I do now are done live. As in as a live streaming feed over the internet. However, I was talking to them over the phone. I would have had them come over for the interview, but I don't have enough headphones or mic's. So tons of problems could happen. Next time I might do that anyways though if I am comfortable enough with the equipment.
Either way though...I will interview them again and it will turn out better. :monkey

That would be awesome! I would definitely have to see that. The cream of the crop as far as young thrash bands go.

If so, I hope that there will be a stop in Portland.
