Merciless Death is cool, I'm looking forward to their new album next month. Violator is essential for all thrash fans.

Violator is really cool. I really like Pitiful Reign.

Meltdown owns. Great band that has been doing the thrash thing before it became the "hip" thing again. I'm good friends with the guitarist Jeff. They're more than worth the time to check them out, especially since they actually take time to write songs instead of an uninspired thrash riff or two which they'll just call good *coughmunicipalwastecough*

Yeah, I liked Meltdown alot also. They definitely sound more inspired and original than most of the newer thrash bands.

Meltdown very well may be a good band, but Municipal Waste is far better than your description suggests.

Meltdown is good, but they're not quite on Bonded By Blood's level.

I have yet to listen to bonded by blood (the band, not the album) for the simple fact that they took their name from exodus in a most blatant of ways. I mean... had they been called "Piranah" or something i wouldn't roll my eyes nearly as much.

That said, I'm going to try to check them out soon, they're just not high on my priority list. And before anyone says anything, i'll be the first to admit that this is a real shitty reason to discount a band haha.

I mean I thought it was kind of a rip off that they named there band that too, but they are open about it so I really don't mind it. Piranah would have been a cool band name though!
