Thanks for the kind words, dude. Where'd you hear the track? I've got it and 3 other older songs on my site, and it was on the old Fallen Angels Myspace page. There's a new version that will be appearing on the new CD "Rise From Ashes", due in September through Metal On Metal Records (http://www.metal-on-metal.com). End shameless plug. :pinky

I am so excited for you on this Brad. Very awesome. If my "evil maniacal genius" plans for this summer work out, I should be able to do some kind of major promotional tie in with the release of your new cd.
Ask me in Aug and I will know if I can do something really cool. :monkey
I'm sorry to say this, but it just seems as if something is missing in "The Essence of Violence" and "Slaves in Words." :shrug

No. The overall sound isn't quite heavy enough, there isn't quite enough to most of the riffs and the transitions are a bit lacking. When it comes down to it, the songs just don't quite seem to reach the destination they're going for. :shrug

I thought the riff of "Slaves in Words" was killer! Good vocals also. Definitely a solid thrash band.

I also notice a Death influence in Looking Over The Walls.
This band has drastically improved since I first heard them.:headbanger

I think the first song I heard by Fallen Angels was called Death Squad,I thought it was o.k. but after hearing these other songs I'll have to get a copy.Death Squad was not from the same album was it?I looked around but couldn't find out.

Death Squad was released in a 4-song demo in 2005, and appeared on the Northwest Deathfest 2005 sampler CD, but it's not gonna be on the new album. If you want to hear the demo tracks I've got mp3s on the Fallen Angels page of my own site here (http://www.bradzilla.us/fallenangels.html).
