Dethklok

Since I finally began watching Metalocalypse, I've discovered that Dethklok is quite a kickass band. I also noticed that they're scheduled to play in Portland June 2, but a friend of mine thinks that the band's performance will consist of the animated version playing on a TV screen. Until I heard this, I figured that the band had a live incarnation that would play on the tour, and a few minutes ago I found out that Gene Hoglan, Brendan Small, Mike Keneally and Bryan Beller assembled for a tour in October/November 2007. However, I have not seen any information about Dethklok's current, or upcoming, tour at the Metalocalypse website, the band's MySpace page or their Metal Archives page. With that, does anyone know if an actual live band will be playing on this tour?

Also, what's the consensus of The Dethalbum here?

First of all, thanks.

With that, it sucks that this is going to be an animated performance, and not one by a live band. However, it still may kick ass, and I'll most likely go to this show since I'm way into Chimaira right now.

I plan to be at Dethklok early as fuck and I plan to already be in town for that matter, so we should be able to easily hook up with everyone. I think I'll run off with them to the Portland show as well.

Since I found out what I wanted to know about Dethklok's current tour, I could care less about the hijacking.

With that said, I'm quite familiar with the band, and I'll most likely go to the Portland show.
