Does anyone know if a guitar tablature book was ever released for the ST debut or Rev It Up, or whether any Vixen tabs ever made it into a collection or a guitar magazine?

You may find some tabs here: http://www.tabcrawler.com/search.php?show=archive&letter=v&artist=vixen
And all here, in standard notation: http://www.neilsvixenpage.com/Vixtab/vixtab.html
Don't know whether a guitar tabs book was ever released though

There's one for Rev It Up for sure! I've never seen one for the first album but I'd guess they would have that one as well.. Your best bet would be Ebay :-)

Thanks for the responses. I did spent a few days tracking down a tab book with no luck, but if a Rev It Up book does exist, I'll have to look again!

I'll keep it mind. I did see an official piano/vocal/guitar sheet music for "How Much Love" on eBay. It was published by EMI in 1990, and it's selling out of Canada. Do a search for "vixen piano"

Hey, no problem. I'm glad it's in good hands. I've got my eye on a few other memorabilia items. There's this DVD that's apparently the product of a European Vixen fan club on eBay, being sold out of Italy I think. Contains the music videos, some spot ads, and I'm assuming some performances. I'm looking for things like this myself, but finding first-generation recordings that have aged well is hard. Landed the Vixen VHS tape last month, almost bought it out of Japan as a Laserdisc. :D Hopefully that sheet music is in great condition.

The sheet music looks pretty good for it's age judging by the pix but i guess i will have to wait and see when i recieve it how good a copy it is.
As far as the dvds are concerned i have bought three of these from the seller in Italy and three times she has provided an excellent service.
One of the cd/dvd packages contains revved up dvd version as well and theres good live cd and dvd concerts too and rare tracks on the cd's etc.
I wouldnt say these are fan club cd's dvd's but they do contain excellent footage so i would recomend them highly.
She offers three diffrent Vixen box sets so ask her about all three they all contain good stuff.
I tell you what though i would love to get my hands on a copy of Vixen Bands reunited on dvd but no joy yet sadly.

Yeah, I do want that Bands Reunited episode. Can't find it, not even through usenet, and you can find anything there. I can't be alone in wanting to see a DVD release of that entire series.
I thought those DVDs were the result of a fan club effort. Oh well, obviously at least one superfan put in the effort. :D
I don't know if you own any Vixen records, but you might get your hands on the few 45s that are still floating around as some come with postcard photos of the band as well as backstage passes.

If you keep an eyeball on Ebay, the tab book for Rev It Up pops up once in awhile. I bought it back in the late 90's and still have it. I keep in one of Jan's guitar cases. (I own a couple of her old guitars.) :D
