We here at Alter Der Ruine (http://www.myspace.com/alterderruine) want to give away some of our music. We've been posting this a lot and I'm sure it is beyond annoying now, but it is only done because we're trying our hardest to reach ears that may not normally perk up to our sound. So if you have friends or acquaintances who like or claim to like electronic music or like to give or pretend to give new music a chance, please send them this link or burn this album for them. We're not making anything off of this (especially at our shows where we often forget to sell anything).
We just enjoy what we're doing and want others to have a good time with us. If you ever see us live it's pretty easy to tell we're enjoying what we're doing, and we just want other people to come and have fun with us too. That and this remix album never really got the chance it deserved.
There is a lot of amazing work on this album and it's not fair to let it slip away unnoticed. It has everything from house,ebm,electroclash,IDM, noize and guitar driven tracks. It would be hard not to like at least one or two songs on this album. And honestly there's a lot of talent that deserves to be heard, a lot of it from up and coming bands that are sure to make names for themselves soon if they haven't already.
So there's that, it's weird to write a pandering bulletin asking people to download our music for free. But hopefully a few of you do and hopefully you enjoy what you hear. Let us know if you do, or if you hate it, either way works for us. Thanks kindly.
