i don't know whether i'm more offended that he didn't even think that he had something else to do before he bought the tickets or whether he said he'd ask that girl if we could stay with her.

i was so excited for this show. now i don't even want to attempt to go.
because now either we arrive late and miss the vip session or have to leave early around 9pm and miss the band that i was going there to see...or BOTH. and even if neither of them happen, i have to be pushed aside for some other chick the entire show. even if i'm not i'm going to feel sick that she's there and he wants to find her the entire time. whether he wants her or not (which i'm pretty sure he does) it's going to make me want to run away and just hide somewhere.

the band i've been waiting to see for months, praying that they'd tour just one more time for YEARS...OVER A DECADE, i actually have tickets to. it was the one thing that made me happy throughout the funerals, the stress, and the physical ailment i've been barely dealing with. the one thing i could look forward to.

and now all i want to do is sell them. give them away. drink myself blind. and cry myself to sleep.

(On a side note: My husband has female friends, and I have male friends, and sometimes we hang out with our friends and without each other, and our relationship is secure enough that we can do that and not be worried about cheating... if you don't have that or you can't at least talk about it honestly, then you're wasting both YOUR and HIS time by trying to be together).

thanks for the advice. well, he basically told me to go by myself if he couldn't come (he has exams the day of and the next day). i feel really shitty going without him though. but you know what? i might have to. i've been waiting for this for years.
