Ajattara kicks major ass, and just may be my favorite black metal band. The lead vocalist is former Amorphis vocalist Pasi Koskinen, who now goes by Ruoja, and sings exclusively in Finnish. Thus far, my favorite album by Ajattara is Apare, which "Hurmasta" is part of.

I quit listening to Amorphis because of the departure. I appreciate the info.

I never got into Amorphis all that much since they tried to incorporate too many fucking elements into their music, and everything ended up blending together. However, I do absolutely love "Better Unborn" from Elegy.

Last but not least, I'm going to see them in October since one of my favorite bands, Leaves' Eyes, will be opening for them. I hope they'll be good.
