Whups. I didn't check out the full list of threads. this was a band spam, which can be deleted at the Mods leisure.

Hey Kelly! Welcome back! You've been gone for a long time I think. Band Spam isn't frowned on too much as long as it isn't a hit and run thing. The hit and run band spammers piss me off though. :cheers

also, make sure and check out our link share site at www.HeavyAsHell.com We just re-launched it a little more than a month ago so it has a whole new look and is doing better than ever. :monkey

Yeah, I wasn't sure how the 'heaveyashell' thing worked so I panicked and ran away. I'll look a little closer.

In the meantime...

I play bass.

Heavy As Hell is a place where you submit links to music news you want to share. Then the community at large votes on what stories (links) make it to the front page. The links can be to actual news like Blabbermouth, music videos on YouTube, MySpace pages, or whatever else you think the rock/metal/punk community should know about.

As with anything else, you get what you put in. If you vote on others stories they will have a better chance at voting on yours. So comment, vote, and of course submit. There is no problem with doing a submit on your own story, but if you mix it up with a few from other band's you like it might go over better.

I co-own that site too, so if you have any questions at all please just ask, but DO NOT run away! :D

Okay, thanks. I was just curious, because when you get directed there automatically from the 'promote your music' page, so I thought it was a place to set up band profiles or something. I like the idea of a music news page, though.

hehe
forgive my non-caffeinated ramblings and musings this mourning. i often let my mouth overload my ass before i have had enough coffee for the ol synapses to properly kick in.
let me elaborate.
thank you for playing deathgrind the way it should be done. pissed off and uncomprimising. unlike the vast majority of the TRL flunkies who have decided that death metal, grindcore & black metal is the new flavor of the month, you have taken the approach in the vein it was originally intended to be delivered. metal was and is supposed to be a two middle finger salute to the moral majority and a kick in the nuts to any and all authority.

so this is closer to what i meant when i said simply "thank you".

Ha ha ha ha
Yeah, we didn't want to another band that uses blastbeats for 90% of the songs... its alot heavier sounding when you take it slow, and also easier to listen to. As far as our subject matter, its pretty much all about killing...

i'm not completely opposed to blasting either. it's all about the feel i think. some bands get it, and some don't. i prefer my metal to be brutal and punishing and a lot of bands out there just sound way too polished to be properly aggressive ya know.
:cheers
