Live at the Ryman is a compelling glimpse of a young guitarist at the height of his creative powers, but one who is still open to exploring the depth and range of his blues music and so many other emotionally riveting genres. This live album, recorded at the famed Nashville theater, is not to be missed!

The Alien Blakk

Download the Interview

So who is The Alien Blakk? Well it is a blend of Primus, Meshuggah, Nevermore, and Buckethead and you almost have an idea. Although Joshua says he doesn't care about heavy, this is a very heavy release. It's not just your typical prog-metal outing though. It's far more chaotic than that. So if you demand more from your prog-metal, this should be your next purchase!

I have to admit that I wasn't that impressed by the first release under the "The Alien Blakk" banner. So even if you weren't impressed by that first release, you need to take a listen to this one. It has what so much Metal today is missing. It is also a massive improvement from the last album.

So listen in as we talk about all things The Alien Blakk as well as things about the man behind the beast.

Overkill

Download the Interview

Many Overkill fans were extremely disappointed in the Overkill releases Killbox 13 and ReliXIV. They gained back some fans with 2007 release Immortalis, but with Ironbound I think they will win back everyone else and a few extras.

The band is back like never before and if you lost all hope with Killbox 13 and ReliXIV you need to come back and give the band another chance. This one is bigger and stronger than anything the band has released in almost a decade!

Don't believe me? Check out eh video embeded below. Then listen in as Blitz himself talks about all things Overkill. Including the possible release of a chocolate version of their mascot Chaly!

Brian Howe

Download the Interview

Ever notice how no one cares about the new cd of a Classic Rock artist? I think part of that is because of singers who have blown out voices and sound like total ass. Well, I was shocked at how great Brian Howe's voice still is. So click the link to his personal website and check out a few songs from the new cd. If you like it, make sure and come back here and click the Amazon link above to buy a copy.

Listen as Brian Howe talks about all things Bad Company and Circus Bar in our exclusive interview with this Rock legend.
