RockMyMonkey.com Review Motorhead Contest

click to enlargeMany have said they could handle being a writer for this site. Most have failed. I have lost count how many times I have sent promos to someone and never heard from them again. A few paragraphs is all I ask, but most just can't seem to do more than say if they like or dislike something. They can't dissect it and say why they like or dislike something. They can't find the words to explain what sucks about a cd or what makes a cd great. The truth is that very few posses the skill to listen to music with the critical ear it takes to write reviews.

So do you think you have what it takes? Go to http://music.aol.com/new-releases-full-cds/#/6 and stream the new Motörhead cd The World Is Yours. Then post the review in the comments below. Anyone who can pull it off gets the chance to be a writer for RockMyMonkey. So there can be unlimited winners? Yes. So you are not competing against anyone in this contest. You are only competing against your own fear.

Hell, I don't even care if you review Motorhead. If there is another cd at http://music.aol.com/new-releases-full-cds/ that inspires you then review that one. Just list which one it is at the top of your review. In fact you can even review any cd released within the past 6 months. Are you out of excuses yet?

What's in it for you? Well, a writer gets more music thrown at them than they can even listen to. It is an unlimited supply. If a writer can stick with it long enough you will end up with free dvd's as well as the cd's you review. Eventually you will start to be sent to shows to post reviews. So what's in it for you? Free cd's, dvd's concert tickets, and more if you can prove you are worthy. If you are in a band you will end up with valuable music industry contacts that will help you with your own music career.

So do ya feel lucky punk? Well, do ya?
