Hammerfall: The Guitar World Interview

In a recent interview with Josh Hart of GuitarWorld.com, HAMMERFALL founding member / guitarist Oscar Dronjak answered questions about musical maturity, the role of new lead guitarist Pontus Norgren on the new album Infected, and important upcoming anniversaries for the band.

Last week, HAMMERFALL clinched the highest first-week sales of their career in excess of 1,700 units with their new album, Infected, which debuted at #16 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart, #33 on the Current Hard Music albums chart, and #51 on the Top Hard Music albums chart.  The album also debuted at #2 on the Swedish album chart in late May.

Infected was produced & mixed by James Michael (MÖTLEY CRÜE, SCORPIONS, MEAT LOAF).  The band has plans to tour North America extensively, so stay tuned!
