Ok, so news here is now done by the great and wonderful MsGoth84. Although she is learning fast and doing a great job, she happens to have been out o state for awhile. So there is a backlog of news.

Do I let the news just go? That would be a horrid idea. Right now I am trying to make some money on the side to save the site. The site is in debt and making money on the side is the only way to keep this beat going. This means that I can't post the news with any kind of dependability.

So then the question must be asked, how old can news be before it is too old? I see CNN pick up a news story about music days after it was posted on music sites like RMM. I have seen friends on Facebook get all excited about music news they just heard about, but it's something I heard about weeks ago. So how old is news before it is too old?

So let me know in the comments how old news can be before it is old to you? How old can it be before posting it harms the site? How old before it makes the site look way behind the 8 ball?

Please list your comments in the comments on this page. Thanks.

Long Island, New York's Paragon Records' latest signing KOZELJNIK are set to unleash their second full-length Deeper The Fall this June 22nd. Hailing from Belgrade, Serbia, this malicious duo are sure to infect black metal fans across the globe with their brew of inspiring, ever-morphing product.

Ukrainian black metallers BALFOR are proud to unveil the cover art and track listing of their upcoming Pulverised debut Barbaric Blood. Designed by Martin Saavedra at Uruguay's Spina Studio (Aborted, Daath, Divinity etc.), the cover is at once dark, brooding and apocalyptic.

Barbaric Blood was recorded at Blacklight Studio, Ukraine in August 2009 and mixed and mastered by Shaddar.

Barbaric Blood Track Listing
1. "From The Ashes (…The Beginning)"
2. "Behold My Hate!"
3. "Shadow Of My Raven Wings"
4. "In A Thunder Of Ancient Glory"
5. "Pure Barbaric"
6. "Light's Demise"
7. "Kingdom's Blood"
8. "Voices Of Wilderness"
9. "The Perfect Fire"

Comments BALFOR frontman/guitarist Thorgeir of the cover: "It's always a long journey making an album. First it has to be written and rehearsed. Then it has to be recorded and mastered, and that's where most people think it ends. But it doesn't quite end there. An important factor that everyone forgets about is the artwork, and yet this is often what people notice first. So we are particularly pleased that the artwork for Barbaric Blood has been so well executed by Martin of Spina Studio. He has captured both the concept behind the album, and the band itself."

BALFOR will release Barbaric Blood later this year via Pulversied. Further info TBA.

BALFOR:
Thorgeir -- Vocals / Guitars
Dragon-T -- Lead Guitars
Berowar -- Bass
Erland -- Drums

WHITE WIZZARD BASSIST TALKS EXCLUSIVELY TO NOISECREEP ABOUT THE BAND'S NEWEST ADDITIONS

LA traditional metal heroes, WHITE WIZZARD made their Download festival debut in grand fashion this past weekend, kicking off Sunday's festivities on the Ronnie James Dio stage. Cheered on by a crowd of thousands, the story for WHITE WIZZARD that day was one of change. Having just introduced 2 new members into the fold, this was the first time that the new lineup had played together in front of any audience, let alone on audience at one of the biggest hard rock/heavy metal festivals in all the world.

However, there would be no hesitation for WHITE WIZZARD and no time for reflection on their road to traditional metal supremacy. After reading what bassist, Jon Leon had to say to NoiseCreep, it's clear to see that no bumps in the road could ever stop the momentum of WHITE WIZZARD. It's just full steam ahead.

WHITE WIZZARD bassist, Jon Leon spoke to NoiseCreep about the great new additions to the band's lineup at http://www.noisecreep.com/2010/06/14...and-guitarist/

Before tearing it up on the Download stage, Kylie from Kerrang TV's The Lowdown spoke with bassist, Jon Leon and guitarist, Chad Bryan about their excitement about the fest, why listening to AC/DC is better than an energy drink and tips on where/where not to get tattooed. Watch it at http://www.youtube.com/watch#!v=J1BN8wdR974

This past weekend at Donington Park's legendary Download festival, WHITE WIZZARD founding member JON LEON, guitarist CHAD BRYAN and drummer GIOVANNI DURST appeared live for the first time with newly recruited singer and former CELLADOR frontman MICHAEL GREMIO, along with new lead guitarist and Welsh native LEWIS STEPHENS.
