For immediate release:

New York based extreme metal legends SUFFOCATION recently stopped by the studios of FUEL TV to perform two songs for “The Daily Habit”. While they were there they also participated in the “Ask the Band” segment in which bands interview themselves. The clip can be viewed at the following location http://www.fuel.tv/askaband?bcpid=24...id=69582312001.

Watch the band tear through the tracks “Blood Oath” and “Cataclysmic Purification” using the links below.

“Cataclysmic Purification”: http://www.fuel.tv/music?bcpid=58078...id=62482030001

“Blood Oath”: http://www.fuel.tv/music?bcpid=58078...id=62490946001

SUFFOCATION recently filmed a video clip for the track “Cataclysmic Purification” (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EEYSU4XGLpI) with director David Brodsky (ARSIS, GOD FORBID, KATAKLYSM, SWASHBUCKLE). Bassist Derek Boyer recently stated about the track and the groups 6th full length album “Blood Oath”:

"’Cataclysmic Purification’ audibly portrays a calamitous future approaching. With this song and the rest of the album I think we've maintained the musical integrity of the band while still having comprehendible brutality. ‘Blood Oath’ combines straight forward crushing movements with unsuspecting twists that will certainly entertain everyone from the avid SUFFOCATION listener to the 1st time innocent bystanders."

EVILE commenced the Hordes of Chaos II tour with KREATOR last night in Springfield, Va and seemed to have made a big splash in America thus far. A fan report on MetalSetlists.com gives a good sign that EVILE has what it takes to become a major metal powerhouse in North America: "They (EVILE)totally ruled live, their whole set was a guitar clinic, Ol Drake's solos are truly amazing, and this was their first show EVER in the United States, and what an introduction. They're now one of my top retro-thrash bands, based on how they played today, and I can't wait to see them in April with OverKill."

EVILE have released a digital-only single of the band's
cover of PANTERA's "Cemetery Gates". EVILE recorded "Cemetery Gates" in 2009 for a special Metal Hammer Dimebag tribute album. Tragically, it was also the last song the band recorded with their late bassist, MIKE ALEXANDER.

"Cemetery Gates" is available now exclusively on iTunes, and also features a special version of EVILE's track "Time No More", with Japanese vocals/lyrics. Buy it today on iTunes US

MUNICIPAL WASTE'S DAVE WITTE TALKS ABOUT METALLICA

Dave Witte, drummer of Virginian crossover thrash kings MUNICIPAL WASTE has
written his thoughts about METALLICA for SLAM Magazine Austria:

"My friend Thomas asked me to write this for SLAM Magazine/Austria. I
thought it was cool enough to share, so here goes!

"Here's my story. Before I was serious about music, I was big into BMX,
flatground, ramp, etc. One day when I was headed out on my good ole' Hutch,
I saw a Maxell cassette laying in the street with four dollar bills wrapped
around it, by a red rubber band. I was like "cool, money", I can go get some
new grips or something. I took the money off and read the labels on the

tape. Side A: Metallica, Kill 'Em All and Side B: Mercyful Fate, Don't Break
The Oath. I had never heard of these bands before and I decided to keep the
tape.

"Later that day, I popped it into my player and I was blown away and in love
with Metallica. Mercyful Fate for me then was kinda scary/evil. I liked it,
but my Mom didn't and told me to turn it off. (So I played that one when she
wasn't home).

"After that day, Metallica was my favorite band and in the next few years to

come, my room was filled with photos and posters of them and I had bought
Ride The Lightning, Creeping Death and Master of Puppets.
My first Metallica concert was in 86 for the Master of Puppets tour with
Ozzy Osbourne. I was lucky enough to see Cliff Burton in all his raging
glory.

"As music changed, got more extreme, adventurous, more laid back and for the
good or bad. I will always remember Metallica for what they did for me and
metal music in general as their classic records are simply unbeatable."

MUNICIPAL WASTE begin their tour of Latin America tour this week. Catch them at
the following shows:

5.3.2010 Calle 2 - Guadalajara, Mexico
6.3.2010 Circo Volador - Mexico City, Mexico
7.3.2010 Teatro Metro - Bogota, Colombia
10.3.2010 Barranco Bar - Lima, Peru
11.3.2010 Teatro Novedades - Santiago, Chile
12.3.2010 Teatro Roxy - Buenos Aires, Argentina

13.3.2010 Clash Club - Sao Paulo, Brazil
14.3.2010 Teatro Odisseia - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Dave Witte sends this message to the Chilean fans after the recent
earthquake:

"We are scheduled to play in Santiago on this tour and it's still uncertain
if it will happen or not, we are waiting on word.
Our hearts go out to everyone in Chile in these hard times, hopefully we'll
be able to play and bring a little fun for the Chilean metal fans."

For immediate release:

EX DEO, the Ancient Roman themed arsenal lead by KATAKLYSM frontman Maurizio Iacono, have released a teaser for their upcoming video “The Final War (Battle of Actium)” at the following location http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yy4TVh4RQf0. The song also features a guest solo appearance from Karl Sanders of NILE. The clip will be released on March 15 (Ides of March) in honour of the god of war, Mars. The clip is sure to create an impact worthy of the Roman empire!

Vocalist Maurizio Iacono recently stated about the video:

“After much discussion with the director Ivan Collic we decided to go with ‘The Final War (Battle Actium)’ as the next video clip for Romulus. I love the song ‘In Her Dark Embrace’, which was initially the planned video track, but we’ve decided to bring the whole production one step higher and film ‘The Final War (Battle Actium)’. The story line is amazing for this song and we will be able to capture not only Roman battle scenes and all the blood you want, but also the true story behind the war that turned Rome from a republic into an Empire. We’re going full force with this one!”

The video clip for the track “Romulus” can be viewed here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l38Jx...eature=related. Live footage of the same track filmed during their Paganfest Europe tour can be viewed here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cF4Jq3nsCy4.

EVILE EMBARK ON FIRST US TOUR TOMORROW

With a typically reserved attitude they pondered their upcoming tour before setting off to the US this morning.

Frontman Matt Drake said:
"I hate airports, they're designed to make travelling as difficult as possible for musicians but its worth going through the pain so we can get to the States and Canada to make a special delivery of heavy metal! We have been working toward this opportunity for a long time so we plan on enjoying it! See you at the shows."

Matt's brother and EVILE lead guitarist Ol Drake comments:

"We're currently on our way to the States, plenty of heavy metal image prejudice through the security. Can't wait to land in the States, get into our new home and drive to the first show. Ready to thrash the States for the first time!"
